We should learn by past events on how to rescue and give aid to victims of a disaster. In the past when a disaster hits we have seen chaos and hysteria. We could have been more prepared to deal with the magnitude of the catastrophic Hurricane Kartina.

There is nothing more important than food, ready to eat food as well as emergency supplies and equipment.

There are various functions for the Basic Essentials For Life organization. Listed below are few of the functions:

• Working through Red Cross and other relief agencies and organizing relief stations for the public to know where to locate loved ones. The designer style name tags will have the address of the relief stations that is near their home and place of work. The sales of the name tags for $2.50 per person, will help fund other ventures and interests of the Basic Essentials For Life organization as well as donating to other  organizations.

• The sales of emergency supplies such as flash lights,  generators, inverters, communication devises, medical kits, ready to eat meals (MRE’s)that are part of the food storage,  sales of food storage items with a 25 year shelf life.

• Emergency education for being prepared. This is free educational material. Work shops and conferences will be held to help the community be prepared in case of a disaster.

• Booking speaking engagements to churches and organizations as a means to inspire community cooperation.

* The workshops and seminars will be held quarterly or by requests to have them more frequently.
